Mercedes Benz launches C Class and E Class Sports Editions


Mercedes Benz today launched Sports Editions of its C Class 220 CDI and E Class 220 CDI sedan in India. The C & E Class Sports Edition was launched by Mr. Peter Honegg & Mr. Debashis Mitra of Mercedes Benz India.


Mercedes C Class has been a successful car for the company in India. As of now Mercedes has sold over 16,000 C Class cars and since the average age of luxury car buyers is coming down in India the number will go up fast in the future. The E Class has set a benchmark for luxury in its segment and Sports Editions of C & E Class will attract young customers as they look attractive with dynamic lines and new trims.

Mercedes Benz C Class Sports Edition features:

AMG Body Styling with front and rear bumper aprons and side skirts.
17 inch 5 twin spoke light Alloy Wheels.
Black painted roof with a SPORT badge.
Halogen lamp and fog lamps (available in Polar White body colour).
Artico upholstery with a Black piano lacquer time.
Mirror package, Electric seats and THERMATIC automatic climate control.
Audio 20 with single CD player, USB, Aux in and Bluetooth connectivity.
PRE–SAFE, NECK Pro, Tire pressure loss warning system.
6 Airbags, Antilock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP®), Acceleration Skid Control (ASR) and Brake Assist.
7G TRONIC automatic transmission, 4 cylinder 2143 cc engine with power output of 170 hp @ 3000-4200 rpm and torque of 400 nm @ 1400-2800 rpm.

Halogen lamps, LED Day time driving light and Direct Control Suspension.
Audio 20 with single CD player, USB, Aux in and Bluetooth Connectivity.
PRE – SAFE, NECK Pro, Attention Assist and Tyre Pressure Loss warning system.
6 Airbags, Antilock Braking System, Brake Assist, and Electronic Stability Programme with Acceleration Skid Control (ASR).

The C Class and E Class Sports Editions are priced at Rs. 29.9 lakh and Rs. 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) respectively.
