Mahindra TUV300 steering wheel teased

            Mahindra has released a teaser image of the it’s soon to be launched TUV300. This is the second teaser after the front wing was released couple of weeks ago.


            The teaser image shows the steering wheel having sliver finish on the lower spokes and features controls for the audio and Bluetooth connectivity. The instrument cluster is also seen with chrome surroundings on speedo and tachometer. There are large numbers of indicator lights between the dials supposedly giving lot of information to the driver. Also seen are the headlamp levelling and fuel tank cap release buttons the right bottom of the dashboard as seen in other Mahindra vehicles.

Mahindra P601 pick up mini truck spied, to feature dumbbell shaped headlamp

        Mahindra is testing its P601 pick up mini truck in and around Chennai where it has its R&D facility (Mahindra Research Valley). From the latest spy pictures we see dumbbell shaped headlamps which look cute on this mini truck.

        Looking by the size of the vehicle it might be positioned between Gio and Maxximmo mini truck. It will have payload capacity of 600-700Kg. A rumour of two wheel bases of the vehicle is going around which means the payload can be increased to 1 ton also.


        Mahindra P601 will compete with Tatas range of mini trucks which has seen huge success in this segment.

Mahindra G101 scooter could be named Zesto

        Mahindra has been testing its new scooter codenamed G101 for a while and bikewale.com suggest that the scooter could be named as Zesto. The name Zesto matches Mahindra’s naming culture of its vehicles with the letter ending ‘O’.

        Mahindra Zesto will be powered by a 110cc engine borrowed from Centuro mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Then engine delivers power of 8.5 Ps and torque of 8.5 Nm. Fuel economy is expected to be close to 60 Kmpl.

        Mahindra Zesto will compete against the market leader Honda Activa along with TVS Wego/Jupiter and Suzuki Let’s. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 40,000 to 45,000 (Ex-showroom) and is likely to make it to showrooms by this year end.
