Maruti
Suzuki has launched the all new Alto K10 with a starting price of Rs. 3.06 lakh
Ex-showroom, New Delhi. The new Alto K10 is based on the Alto 800 which was
launched in 2012. The new Alto K10 comes with many mechanical and cosmetic
changes.
The
new Alto K10 is powered by a 988cc, 3 cylinder K10 petrol engine which produces
67 Bhp of power and 9.1 Kg of torque. This is the same engine which powered the
earlier Alto K10 which has been tweaked now to improve power and fuel efficiency.
The
most important new of the new Alto K10 is it will come in two transmission
options. Apart from the standard 5 speed manual gearbox, the car gets AMT which
makes Alto K10 the cheapest automatic car in the country. However, AMT variant
come with a higher premium than the manual one.
Though
built on the Alto 800 platform, K10 gets a new grill with chrome outline, new
head lamps, new front and rear bumper and new taillights. In the interior there
is new two-tone dashboard with new centre console and audio system.
Top
of the line variant will get features such as diver airbag, front fog lamps and
remote central locking.
