     Mitsubishi Motors has launched the new Outlander SUV in India priced at Rs 19.95 lakh ex-showroom all over India.

     It is powered by a BS 4 complaint 2.4 MIVEC engine which gives better performance. It is avilable in an exciting range of new colors - Catwalk Silver, Haute Red, Chic Black, Cool Aqua Metallic, Vogue White, Shimmering Ash, Runway Grey, Primavera Purple and Glitterati Green.

Volkswagen Golf spotted testing in India

     Mr dar3dev-l at team-bhp(India’s leading automotive discussion forum) has posted some spy pictures of
Volkswagen Polo testing in India. According to him the cars were driven in the town of Pune. With the MH number plates we can guess VW is thinking to launch it in India soon.

     The big question is the price tag. Where will VW position Golf in the hatchback segment. May be it will be placed againt Honda Jazz which is positioned at super premium hatchback segment. With the incoming of the Golf we can also expect the Fiat Bravo to fit into the same segment.

Expect the Golf to be priced at Rs 7 to 8 lakh ex-showroom in India. Have a look at the spy pictures.

New Mahindra SUV slated for Dec 2010 launch

     According to sources Mahindra will launch its new SUV (codenamed: W201) in December 2010. Deliveries are expected to be in the first month of next year.

     The new Mahindra SUV will be priced around Rs 16 lakh and will take on with Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Captiva and soon to be launched Hyundai Santa Fe. It is expected to sport a 2.2 m Hawk engine or an all new 3 liter engine and exclusively an all wheel drive vehicle with seating capacity of 7 persons.
