BMW X1 launched in India, priced at Rs. 22 lakh

     BMW has launched its compact SUV in India with prices starting from Rs. 22 lakh. X1 is available in three variants – Corporate Edition, Highline and Cool Elegance. It will be powered by 1.8 liter petrol and 2.0 liter diesel engines.

     The X1 CE sports basic features and you miss the features available in Highline and Cool Elegance variants. That means you don’t get to see sunroof, i-drive interface and 6-CD changer in the X1 CE. Apart from the features mentioned earlier, the Highline variant gets goodies such as Xenon headlamps, parking sensors and leather seats. The top of the line Cool Elegance variant gets a Anthracite Headliner and an exclusive contrasting piping on the leather seats.

     The X1 sDrive 1.8i is powered by a 1995cc 4 cylinder petrol engine with power of 147.5 Bhp and torque of 20.4 Kgm. The X1 sDrive 2.0d will feature a 1995cc 4 cylinder diesel engine with power of 174 Bhp and 35.7 Kgm of torque.

• X1 sDrive 2.0d CE – Rs. 23.90 lakh
• X1 sDrive 2.0d Highline – Rs. 29.90 lakh
• X1 sDrive 2.0d Cool Elegance – Rs. 32.50 lakh
