Tata Venture MPV launched in India

      Tata Motors has launched its MPV Venture which is based on the Ace mini truck platform in Jaipur. Venture is  priced  in the range of Rs. 4.05 lakhs and Rs. 5.07 lakhs (ex-showroom Jaipur).



     The Venture is powered by a 1.4 Litre turbo diesel engine, delivering 71 PS power with fuel efficiency of  15.42 Kmpl (As certified by ARAI). Venture is available in 5,7 and 8 seating option with seats facing front. 5 colour shades and 3 trim levels are offered.

Volkswagen is the new partner of IPL 4 and 5

     Volkswagen India has won the bid for the official partner of the IPL season 4 and 5. Now the DLF IPL which was previously called will be Volkswagen IPL for the next 2 years.

Tata Motors hikes prices of some of its vehicles

     Come 2011, Tata Motors has hiked the prices of some of its vehicles ranging from Rs. 1500 to 30,000. The company cites the hike due to rise in the input costs. The price hike for the passenger car will be between Rs. 1500 to 15,000 and for the commercial vehicles between Rs. 1500 to 30,000.



The price hike for various vehicles is as follows
  • Indica and Indigo family – Rs. 3000 to Rs. 30,000
  • Tata Sumo, Grande MK II, Safari and Xenon – Rs. 8,700 to 14,500
  • Commercial Vehicles – Rs. 1500 to Rs. 30,000
