2011 Honda CBR250R bookings started in India

     Honda Two Wheelers India has started the booking of its much awaited 250cc Motorycycle CBR250. The bike's pricing starts at Rs. 1.5 lakh going upto Rs. 1.8 lakh for ABS equipped one. The bike will be manufactured completely in India and deliveries will begin by April 2011.

      The CBR250 is powered by a 249cc, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 stroke engine fuel injection, liquid cooled engine coupled with a 6 speed gearbox. Peak power output of 25.8 Bhp at 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 2.3 Kgm at 7000 rpm can be achieved. Top speed of 140 Kmph gives an exhilaration ride and you can cruze easily at the speed of 120 Kmph. 


      The CBR250R comes with front and rear disk brakes and ABS as safety options. It is available in colour combinations such as Candy ruby red and accurate silver metallic, sword silver metallic and accurate silver metallic, asteroid black metallic and accurate silver metallic.

     Honda, known for it performance motorcycles is aiming at the fast growing high end motorcycle segment in India. With is great styling and sporty design the CBR250R is surely going to win many of the die hard motorcycle fans. Yamaha is watching closly as well!

Tata Prima Construck launched in India

     Tata Motors has launched a new range of high end tippers under its Prima brand name christened Construck priced in the range of Rs. 33-40 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). The Prima Construck range includes Prima 3128K and Prima 2528K. 


     The Construck range of trucks has been designed specifically for particular purposes like Prima 3128K for road construction and irrigation sectors and Prima 2528K for off-road deep mining applications.




     The Prima range comprises about 10 variants of multi-axle trucks, tractor-trailers, tippers, mixers and special application vehicles.

Volkswagen releases teaser image of 2012 New Midsize Sedan(NMS)

     Volkswagen has released the teaser images its 2012 New Midsize Sedan(NMS) which will debut at the Detroit Motor Show. According to sources the NMS will be sleeker and romier than the Passat. Since NMS is built in Tenneesse it will be sold arount $20,000, $7000 less than the passat. NMS is likely to look similar to Jetta and will take on Camry and Accord in US markets.

Hyundai Curb concept to debut at Detroit Auto Show

     Hyundai has designed a Nissan Juke competitor named ‘Crub’ which will make its debut at Detroit Motor Show along with the new Veloster. The first teaser images of the Curb concept have already appeared on the web. The Curb concept features dynamic styling with a small greenhouse, blackened A-pillers and a prominent character line.


     From the interior sketch evidence of space age design ambience is present. There are massive touchscreen display and rear passenger controls on the back of the front seats.
