Hyundai will launch the facelifted i10 small car in India soon. The i10 facelift will get new set of headlamps, taillamps and front bumper giving a neat look to the car.
Hyundai i10 sales have come down due to tough competition from new comers in the market - Chevrolet Beat and Ford Figo. This seams to be a desperate effort by the company to bring i10 back to life. Well...... Shah Rukh Khan might be getting ready with a facelift too for the new i10 ad!

Volkswagen Vento launched in India
Volkswagen has launched a premium sedan christened Vento in India. Vento is built on the Polo hatchback platform. The car will be availabe for purchase only by September-October this year. Though the specifications of Vento has been released, the company is mum on the price details. We expect it to be priced between Rs 7-9 lakh.
Vento seam to give a strong competition to market leader Honda City. Since City has only petrol motor, Vento with its diesel oil burner has an advantage to take away the competition.

Mercedes Benz low floor buses to hit Indian roads
To cater to the Indian urban needs Mercedes Benz has decided to launch low floor city buses. A prototype with capacity of 38 person low floor city bus was showcased recently. At present the company has 2-axle and 3-axle inter city luxury coaches in India.
The company plans to set up a dedicated assembly line that will cater to the production requirements of the city buses. The new body building facility for the city buses will be set up at Pune.
Mercedes will send prototypes of the city buses to various cities and take feedback from urban commuters. Based on the feedback the company will fine tune the vehicle as per the commuter requirements. This would take about 6 to 9 months before the final batch of buses roll out. We can expect the new Mercedes city buses by early next year.
The demand for low floor city buses has risen exponentially in India, Thanks to JnNRUM and promotion of public transport system. Mercedes estimates to produce and sell 500 units of these buses per annum.
