Force One launch on 19th August

The much awaited SUV from Force Motors ‘Force One’ will be launched on 19th of August. The dealers have been informed about the launch and a word of ‘get ready’ has been delivered to them.

Force Motors is betting big on its SUV and is likely to be priced competitively. At around Rs. 11-13 lakh, Force One will give stiff competition to Tata Safari, Mahindra Scorpio & Tata Aria. But the major one to get hit will be Innova. People buying a MUV like Innova will definitely opt the Force One because of its spaciousness and off road capability.

Force Motors has gone into an agreement with Mercedes Benz, which provides the engine for ‘Force One’ SUV. The Force One engine is the same one we see in the C Class but with various output. Expect the Force One engine to deliver class leading performance, which no other vehicles in the segment can match.

Scoop: Maruti R3 clear images

Till now we had been seeing the spy pictures of the Maruti R3 MPV, now Carwale.com has provided us the clear images of the R3 MPV.

The R3 bears some resemblance with the new Swift, but the entire front end including the headlamps has no association with the Swift. In fact the R3 MPV is built on the extended Ritz platform.

The side profile looks impressive and one gets a feeling of a big vehicle, which the R3 is indeed. The wrap around tail lamps looks great as well. Overall we would say the R3 has been designed will by Maruti Suzuki. It is all about the price now which decides the R3 fate in Indian market.

Honda CR-V 2012 spied inside out in China

The next generation Honda CR-V has been spied beneath camouflage in China. Few days back Honda had released the photo of the Honda CR-V 2012 and the spy pictures from China resembles very much that released by the company.

From the spy pictures we can see the headlamps integrated with the front grill giving a floating appearance. The front bumper looks sporty with nicely designed fog lamp slots. The rear of the vehicle looks similar to the Volvo XC series vehicles; the Honda CR-V has a distinctive character.

Like the exterior the interior too looks futuristic with new steering wheel and dashboard. The new Honda CR-V will continue from where the current generation model leaves and we have to say that Honda has yet again proved that they make cars which looks like space age ones.

Honda Brio spied again, now with less camouflage

The small car from Honda, Brio has been spotted again testing near its factory in Noida. In our earlier post we had posted some spy pictures but nothing like these pictures below which will show the complete without much camouflage.

Honda will launch the Brio at the time of Diwali which will be in September. Since the Brio will be launched only in petrol engine, Honda is trying hard to position the car in the right segment. Any overpricing will make the Brio suffer like its big brother Jazz did.

The Brio will be powered by a 1.2L petrol engine, which is lifted from the Jazz. However the engine will be down tuned to match the small Brio. 5 speed manual transmission will be offered, but a 4 speed automatic cannot be ruled out at a later stage. Honda wants Brio to be positioned in a segment where people want performance of a petrol car with fuel efficiency of a diesel one. The Brio is expected to deliver 20 Km per liter of petrol.

As we see from the second picture, the rear windscreen is smaller unlike in the Thai version where the entire Tail gate consists of glass. May be Honda has redesigned the tail gate for India which now has a smaller rear glass area.
