After launching Honda Brio Automatic, Honda has yet
another launch in its portfolio. This time it is the City sedan which gets a
CNG fitment and also a new AVN variant is being added to the existing line up.
The City CNG is basically the ‘V’ model which is CNG kit
ready. The CNG kit can be installed at 45 selected Honda dealerships at 28
cities where CNG fuel option is available. Honda has optimised the 1.5L engine
for bi-fuel operation and the suspension has been worked as well to accommodate
the CNG kit.
The City CNG is available at Rs. 9.54 lakh ex-showroom,
New Delhi without the CNG kit. An additional Rs. 50,200 plus installation
charges will have to be borne by the customer. The City CNG comes with a 2 year
warranty and gets ABS, BA (Brake Assist), Dual
SRS Airbags, pre-tensioner seat belts as
standard fitment.
Honda has also added an “Integrative
Intelligence” AVN Grade model, available in V variant. This AVN (Audio Visual
Navigation) Grade model include features such as Touch Screen, Audio Visual
Navigation, Bluetooth, DVD player in addition to CD player, USB/iPod/Aux-in
connectivity and Leather upholstery with leather wrapped steering wheel and
leather wrapped gear shift knob (in MT).
