Tata Nano now sold in Big Bazaar

Tata Motors has struck an agreement with Future Group to sell the Nano car across its consumer retail network. This is the first initiative by any car company in India. The Tie-up is a win-win situation for both Tata Motors and Future Group. Tata Motors will be benefited by sales as well as brand building and Future Group will explore the business of auto sales from its outlets.

The Nano will be displayed at 120 outlets of Big Bazaar and the customers who book the car here will get gifts such as gold coins and vouchers worth Rs. 1500.

Tata Nano sales had declined in November but has picked up since December 2010. The company sold 8000 odd units in February making into top 10 cars in terms of sales.
