Force Motors is ready with its SUV to be launched in India. A showroom owned by the company in Pune is getting finishing touches for the SUV launch. Force Motors has been relying heavily on the SUV to click in Indian Market. The company known for its utility vehicles in India is launching an SUV for the first time in the country.
The Force Motors SUV is basically the Foday Guangdong Explorer III, a Chinese SUV. The company has bought the tooling for body from China and the interiors has been sourced from Thailand. No names have been announced yet, but we are sure it will not bear a Chinese name.
The Force Motors SUV is not a great looking vehicle. It looks just like a big box on four wheels. But the company is making up by underpinning with some sturdy materials. The body-on-frame chassis with robust ‘C-in-C’ construction is suspended by a torsion bar set-up in front and coil springs at the rear. Powering the massive SUV is the Mercedes OM 611 2.2 liter common rail turbo diesel engine with 140 Bhp of power and 35 Kgm of torque, coupled with a five speed manual transmission.
Thought the Mercedes OM 611 is a decade old, it still meets the BS4 emission norms and perform better than any other Indian SUVs. The ride and handling has been tuned by Lotus of UK. The SUV is expected to be priced at Rs. 10-12 lakhs and will come with lots of features such as airbags and ABS.

It really sounds good that a Indian car will now have a Mercedes OM 611 2.2 liter common rail turbo diesel engine with 140 Bhp of power and 35 Kgm of torque thats really Great of force motors. Overall the car has good looks with great efforts on roads. A good luck to force motors to go on for the launch.....
If this car falls under 10-12L budget its an awesome deal to go for as no other car production company has very low price for their SUV with a dynamic engine, hard built, great looks, smart functionality.. i will rate 4.5 out of 5 for this car.. nice collection of force motors from all their vehicles.
Yeah it fall in same bucket u mentioned with a Merc 2.2 Engine. Car is also being finetuned by Lotus engineering, UK. What else we can say to rate this car best in the segment. My rating 5/5. :)
Yes dear you are very true that if this car falls under 10-12L budget its an awesome deal to go for as no other car production company has very low price for their SUV with a dynamic engine, hard built, great looks, smart functionality.. i will rate 4.5 out of 5 for this car.. nice collection of force motors from all their vehicles. No doubt this car has great looks, good engine, huge sturdy body, with a brand name who had proven themself earlier in big vehicles.
